Job Description

OVERALL PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Network and Scheduling Executive will play a crucial role in optimizing the operational efficiency and ensuring seamless coordination of the network.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Network

  1. Collaborate with Network and Schedule Manager to develop and implement network strategies that support business objectives.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day operation of the network, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
  3. Monitor network performance metrics and proactively address any issues or bottlenecks to maintain optimal functionality.
  4. Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions accordingly.
  • Scheduling Coordination
  1. Coordinate scheduling activities across various internal departments to ensure efficient utilization of resources.
  2. Liaise with stakeholders to understand scheduling requirements and constraints, and develop strategies to meet deadlines and deliverables.
  3. Utilise scheduling software and tools to create and manage schedules, taking into account factors such as availability, capacity, and priorities.
  4. Communicate schedule updates and changes to relevant internal teams and stakeholders in a timely manner.
  5. Communicate with airline partners with regards to schedule changes and any other requirement related to KMMA’s operating services and Marketing flights.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
  1. Collect and analyse data related to network performance, scheduling efficiency, and resource utilization.
  2. Generate reports and insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  3. Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization, and make recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  1. Foster positive relationships with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to facilitate collaboration and alignment.
  2. Serve as a point of contact for scheduling inquiries, escalations, and requests for information.
  3. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address concerns, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment on priorities and objectives.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE

  • Responsibilities for the emergency response processes and procedures, as defined in the Emergency Response Program Manual for your role.

HEALTH & SAFETY

  • Understand individual operational safety and security responsibilities.
  • Be aware of personal health and safety and the health and safety of others at work.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Office based Monday to Friday.
  • May be required to travel.
  • May be required to work after hours in case of disruption.

 

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, AND SKILLS

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • A minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in a position with equivalent accountabilities and responsibilities (essential).
  • Diploma MQF Level 5 or Degree MQF Level 6 or higher or relevant professional qualification (desirable).

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in scheduling software/tools.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles, protocols, and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Attention to details and accuracy of information shared.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
