THINGS TO NOTE.


  • Baggage weighing over the entitled limit will be considered excess baggage, and you will be asked to pay the extra weight fee at check-in.
  • Baggage exceeding 32kg must be handled as Cargo or repacked in separate bags. 
  • Your baggage may show signs of wear and tear as a result of baggage handling. You are therefore advised to use baggage that is of suitable quality and durability to withstand such baggage handling processes. Read more about our policies on Damaged Baggage.
  • Baggage pooling is not permitted.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.

We inform you that the following items cannot be carried in your checked baggage:

  • Items that must not be carried in checked baggage, including fragile, brittle, breakable, delicate or easily perishable items, money, jewellery, precious metals, computers, personal electronic devices, mobile phones, cameras, optical devices – glasses, bills of exchange, securities and other valuable objects such as paintings, manuscripts, publications as well as documents, including business documents and trade samples, passports or other identification documents, medicine and keys as well as damages resulting from the placement of the above mentioned objects in the baggage. Such items should be transported in the cabin baggage and at the responsibility of the passenger.

Baggage policy on flights from/to the United States of America (USA)

When you’re preparing your checked-in baggage for travel to the USA, remember to check the TSA (US Transportation Security Administration) restrictions on using locks. Certain items such as flammable material are also completely banned on flights to and from the USA, both in cabin and checked baggage.
