Earning SkyBux
SkyBux are earned when:
- Purchasing a KM Malta Airlines scheduled and operated flight ticket directly through our website
- Purchasing KM Malta Airlines ancillaries i.e. Excess Baggage, Sports/Musical Equipment, Seats, and Pet in Cabin through our website
- Membership Tier Level Attainment and Retainment
- Membership Tier Level Percentage SkyBux Bonus
Simply add your KM Rewards membership number to your flight. This step is essential to ensure you earn SkyBux and receive recognition for your travels.
Your KM Rewards membership number can be inserted through the following channels:
- KM Malta Airlines Website (when making a booking)
- KM Rewards Customer Support Centre
- At the Sales Office at Malta International Airport
- During Airport/Online Check-In.
Every time you complete a flight with us or you purchase flight ancillaries (including Seats, Excess Baggage, and Pet in Cabin), you will be earning SkyBux. The more you spend, the more you earn!
SkyBux Earn Rate:
- SkyBux earn rate on ancillaries (available soon) is 2%.
- SkyBux earn rate on flights is based on:
- The price of the basic fare paid (excluding taxes and charges)
- Your Membership Tier Level - the higher the tier the more SkyBux earned.
- The fare family booked (Basic, Value, Plus, or Flex) - the higher the fare family the bigger the percentage of SkyBux earned; as per below:
