Heathrow is modernising Terminal 4 to create a new and improved arrivals and departures passenger experience for the future. As part of this work, after over 40 years of service Terminal 4’s multi-storey car park will permanently close at midnight on 22 June 2026.
During the redevelopment, Terminal 4 will remain fully open, with flights and airport services continuing to operate as normal.
What this means for your journey:
From 23 June 2026, there will be changes to passenger parking at Terminal 4.
Parking at Terminal 4
- All Terminal 4 passenger parking will move to Park & Ride 4 (Zone A)
Dropping-off and picking-up at Terminal 4
- Drop-Off at the Terminal remains unchanged
- Pick-Up at the Terminal will be available
- Pick-Up charges will apply
To help your journey go smoothly, we recommend:
- Checking your parking and travel options before you travel.
- Allowing a little extra time during the change period.
- Following signage and guidance from assistance teams on site.
