Job Description
OVERALL PURPOSE OF POSITION
The AMOS System Engineer is responsible for the effective management and administration of the AMOS platform within the airline. This role ensures the smooth operation, data integrity, and compliance of the AMOS System to support maintenance, engineering, and operational activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the AMOS system to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Provide user support, training, and troubleshooting for AMOS users.
- Coordinate system upgrades, configurations, workflows, and customisation requests.
- Serve as a liaison between IT, engineering, and maintenance teams to facilitate system enhancements.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system processes, user manuals, and procedures.
- Create AMOS reports using Report Writer when required. (Knowledge of SQL may be required).
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience with Maintenance & Engineering systems within the airline industry.
- Strong understanding of airline maintenance operations, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Maintenance, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or a B1/B2 type-rated Part 66 License as issued by TM-CAD or equivalent.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ work experience in CAMO or Part 145 environment. Practical experience in aviation safety standards and safe operating practices, and the ability to implement safety procedures.
